Can I migrate one source CRM object into multiple objects in target CRM?

Yes, you can map the same object more than once to create records in different objects in your new CRM.

This is useful when you want data from one source object to be split and sent to multiple destinations. You’ll be able to set different field mappings for each destination, allowing for flexible and customized data migration.

Example Use Case: Mapping Leads to Both Contacts and Leads

Suppose you're migrating data from your old CRM and want the Leads object to go to both the Contacts and Leads objects in the new system. This approach lets you:

  • Merge leads with existing contacts in the new CRM, if they match.

  • Keep a complete history by also sending the data to the Leads object.

You can define different field mappings for each destination, so you control what information is sent where.

How to Do It

  1. Go to the Select Objects step in the migration wizard.

  2. On the left side, click Select one of ... objects to pick your source object again.

  3. On the right side, click the same button and choose a different destination object.

  4. Click Save.

Your source object will now be mapped multiple times. You can then customize the field mappings for each destination object separately.
