How can I find the Close CRM API key?

Here is the step-by-step breakdown to get your key:

  1. Log in to your account on the Close CRM Web App.
  2. Navigate to Settings: Click on Settings in the left-hand sidebar menu.
  3. Go to Developer Settings: Scroll down the settings menu and click on Developer, then select API Keys.

    4. Generate a New Key: Click the + New API Key (or "Create New API Key") button.

    5. Name and Save: Give your API key a descriptive name (e.g., the name of the tool you are connecting) and click Create or Generate.

       6. Copy Securely: Copy the generated API key immediately.

 ⚠️ Note: For security reasons, Close CRM will only show this API key once. Make sure to save it securely before closing the window, as you won't be able to view it again.
