Deals currency is incorrect after migration to HubSpot, what should I do?

If your currencies didn’t migrate correctly to HubSpot, it usually means the system didn’t match them properly during the automapping step. This can happen if the currencies weren’t set up in HubSpot before the migration.

Follow these steps to fix the problem:

1. Check Your Currency Settings in HubSpot

Go to this link (replace [your-portal-id] with your HubSpot ID):
https://app.hubspot.com/settings/[your-portal-id]/account-defaults/multicurrency

There, you’ll see all the currencies currently set up in your HubSpot account.
If any are missing:

  • Click "Add Currency"

  • Add all the currencies you use in your old CRM

2. Refresh the Mapping in the Migration Tool

After updating your currencies in HubSpot:

  • Go back to the Mapping step in the migration tool

  • Click "Refresh" to reload the updated currency list

3. Rematch the Currency values

  • Find the Currency field in the mapping step

  • Click to open the value matching pop-up

  • Match the newly added currencies

4. Restart the Migration

Once everything is updated and saved, restart your migration. The currencies should now migrate correctly.
