Sometimes, after completing your full migration, you may realize that one or more properties were mapped incorrectly and you'd like to adjust them to ensure the most accurate migration results.
It’s important to approach this carefully. The typical flow of a data migration looks like this:

Data Mapping

Sample Migration
-
Full Records Transfer
-
Delta Migration (optional)
Please note: both sample and full migrations erase previously transferred data. So, if you go back to the Data Mapping step after a full migration, the next sample run will wipe out everything that has already been migrated.
If correcting these property mappings is important to you, we strongly recommend reaching out to the SyncMatters support team. Provide your migration ID and details about the changes you'd like to make. In many cases, we can update specific fields for you without needing to redo the entire migration.
For larger updates, additional charges may apply to cover technical support time. However, this is typically much simpler and safer than restarting the full migration which could result in losing any updates your team has made in the target CRM since the original transfer.
